I love this place. I was worried when I first moved to Panama City that the Mazda dealer might be like one of those big cookie-cutter car dealers that only care about getting people in and out of the ... of the service center in 30 minutes or less and not care about the person or really even the car. Thankfully, Panama City Mazda is NOT this type of dealership. This Mazda dealer consistently impresses me each time I show up. They have been working on my cars for over a year now and not just my Mazdas (they work on my Toyota too). They have performed oil changes, tire rotations, and even engine diagnostics. They added a quart of oil in my wife's Toyota when it ran low. They fixed a flat for me in under 10 minutes. They inflated my tires with Nitrogen. They found and then repaired a strange rear end bumping sound. They even repaired free of charge what another local shop repaired incorrectly. I could go on and on about these guys! On top of all that, Panama City Mazda takes the time to get to know their customers. They greet me by name, know that I do NOT like for them to test my washer/sprayer, and offer me fresh coffee if I have to wait on my car. They have even stayed late to finish work on my car!
I bought a new 2010 Mazda 3 five years ago and have had only one problem with it. The dash board began to melt in the Florida heat. Other than the regularly schedule oil changes I have had no other ... problems it is a great car. When I discovered the dashboard problem I contacted James Lett at John Lee Panama City Mazda the dealership I originally bought the car from and James immediately began to work the issue. The customer service and sales service was tremendously the dealership assisted me with contacting Mazda to obtain approval to have the repairs done at no cost to me even though the vehicle is five years old. Mazda took responsibility for the product they produced and were more willing to rectify the problem to my satisfaction than any other dealership I have ever dealt with in more 40 plus years of buying and having a car worked on. I appreciate the efforts MAZDA and JOHN LEE MAZDA have taken to stand behind the products they sell. I recommend Mazda to anyone wanting to buy a reliable affordable car. I purchased 2 Mazdas from John Lee Nissan/MAZDA with the help of Scott Johns. My first car I bought was my 2004 RX8 (low miles). I couldnt be much happier with this sports car from the condition and ... overall driving experiance to the car buying process, plus the price was unbeatable! The second car I bought was the 2015 CX5. I was in a bad situation with a Dodge Dart but dealing with John Lee Nissan/MAZDA they worked with me getting my family into a better safer car without breaking the bank. Overall my wife and I are very pleased with how we were treated and assisted throughout both car buying processes and always recommend John Lee Nissan/Mazda to our friends and coworkers!
We've all heard the old saying, ""They treated me like family."" Well, at John Lee Nissan/Mazda, they treated me like a dear friend (better than family). From the moment I browsed their website, until ... I drove my new Miata MX-5 off the lot (6 months later), it was unlike any vehicle purchase I've ever experienced. The salesmen are knowledgeable professionals! There's none of the pressure and games that are typical of most car dealerships. I've been back to have my vehicle serviced and sometimes I just stop in to say hello. I am always welcomed and they are genuinely pleased to see me. ""Not always so with family!"" I wish we could have stop & really look things over--WE thought the vechile we purchase had a towing pack with it--& I wish they could had help us get the back of truck with some type of cover or ... protection for the bedding part--we came in with open arms & friendly workers--we left feeling we should have stop & reguested a little more--as in price never went down & we thought how things were told to us we were going to get a lower price--did not---WE were under some type of spell-everyone was so nice--& we were so ingage in the freindlessnes & we did not due proper business--But we love our vechile we just beleive we could have gotten more for our money...
